Accreditation

NEMA provides site visits to assist you with achieving Accreditation status for your Centre/Trust. These visits dedicate time to help you identify working teams to gather and create your Portfolio of Evidence, guide you in areas that require improvement and even provide time for the National Accreditation Officer to help build the portfolio with you if need be. Time frames and agendas will be set up to ensure the ACE status is achieved within a workable period. Guidance on local policies, SEND Protocol practice and operational feedback reports are just a small list of what assistance is provided under the NEMA Contract. Your Portfolio will be checked against the Academy 20 point plan before it is forwarded to The Academy for official evaluation. QA

NEMA provides site visits and provisions to audit your auditors. Feedback will be given on the standards within your Centre/Trust in relation to compliance/determinant drifts as well as audit standards. This provision will help to ensure your Audit Department ensures high standards within. Audit Departments can take advantage of the 'audit the auditor' facility to ensure that the difference between one auditor and another, or one audit department and another, remain under the 5% difference range recommended by The Academy. Our Accreditation Officer can review QA report writing skills and, dependant on numbers, ED-Q Courses can be scheduled outside of the Euro Navigator Seminar. Advice on standardising QA working practices/procedures will ensure that reports produced from this Department can be used within the Centre of Excellence Portfolio.
